Dimensional weight calculator

Enter the package dimensions and its actual weight: we return the dimensional weight and, more importantly, the billable weight — the greater of the two, which is what the rate applies to. Free, no sign-up.

Pick your carrier's divisor. Inch divisors (139/166) return pounds; centimeter divisors (5000/6000) return kilograms.

Enter length, width and height to see the result.

How it is calculated

Dimensional weight turns the space a package occupies into chargeable weight: length × width × height ÷ divisor. The carrier sets the divisor and it determines the units — 139 and 166 work in inches and return pounds; 5000 and 6000 work in centimeters and return kilograms. The greater of actual and dimensional weight is always billed, so a big, light box does not travel below its real cost.
