Courier software in Miami
Vecility is courier and package forwarding software for agencies shipping from Miami to Latin America and the Caribbean: it assigns every customer a mailbox with your Miami address, receives packages by scan at your warehouse, consolidates by destination, invoices with your rates and notifies customers at every status. From $85 a month, every feature included.
Why Miami is where it starts
Most of what Latin America buys in the United States moves through Miami: the port and airport with the most departures to the region, the fastest retailer deliveries, and the largest concentration of consolidation warehouses. That is why courier agencies are born here — from a founder renting shelf space in Doral to operations with receiving points across Florida.
Operating from Miami also has its own rules that generic logistics software does not understand: the mailbox address a customer pastes into Amazon, the forwarding-agent certificate that keeps purchases exempt from Florida sales tax, air and ocean shipments living side by side, and customers who speak Spanish while the warehouse team works in English. Vecility was built for exactly that operation.
How your Miami operation runs on Vecility
Mailboxes carry your Miami address. Every new customer automatically gets a mailbox number and sees your full warehouse address — street, suite and their code — in their portal, ready to paste into any US store. Nobody messages you asking for their address.
The warehouse receives by scan. A package arrives, the operator scans it, and it is tied to a customer with weight, dimensions and photos. If the customer pre-alerted it from their portal it arrives already assigned; if not, it is matched by tracking number.
Consolidate by destination, ship by master bill. Several packages from one customer become one shipment; several shipments become a master air waybill or ocean bill. Air and ocean coexist in the same system. When the master bill changes status, the change cascades to everything inside it and every customer gets notified in their portal, by push and by email, in their language.
Invoice with your rates, get paid the way you do today. Invoices are built from what you already weighed, with your dimensional-weight rules, minimums and surcharges. Customers open the invoice from a link, report their payment and attach the receipt (Zelle, wire, cash — whatever methods you define); you confirm and the balance updates.
Your brand on your customer's phone. The customer portal installs as an app from the browser with your name, icon and colors. Public tracking works without an account, so “did it arrive?” stops being a WhatsApp message.
What a Miami agency needs that generic platforms don't provide
- A Miami address with the customer's mailbox code, generated automatically and visible in their portal.
- Dimensional weight with the divisor you choose (139 for air rates in pounds), not the carrier's.
- Rates per lane: different for Bogotá, Caracas, Tegucigalpa or Panama — per pound, per box or per cubic meter.
- Bilingual by person: operators in English, customers in Spanish, same agency, same time.
- A second currency with a configurable rate to show invoices in the destination currency.
- Free storage days and per-day charges, by your policy.
- Sub-agencies to run receiving points in Orlando, Tampa or anywhere else under one head office.
Requirements to run a courier from Miami
To open a courier or package forwarding business from Miami you need, in order: a Florida-registered company (an LLC filed with Sunbiz), an EIN from the IRS, a physical warehouse address, and the Florida Department of Revenue's DR-14FAA Certificate of Forwarding Agent Address, which lets you receive purchases exempt from sales tax when they are bound for export. Software comes right after — the day you want your first customer to have a mailbox.
Vecility provides the software, not the warehouse. If you are starting out without one, we can point you to how to evaluate shared warehouse or 3PL options in Miami during onboarding.
Pricing for Miami agencies
From $85 a month with every feature included and no per-user or per-operation fees; plans differ only by volume. A one-time $199 onboarding, payable in installments, where we set up your rates, weight rules, brand, mailboxes and the import of your customer list from Excel. It is all on the pricing page — the same numbers we give on WhatsApp.

FAQ
Does Vecility include a warehouse in Miami?
No. Vecility is the software you run your operation on; the warehouse is yours, shared, or a 3PL's. If you are just starting, we help you evaluate Miami warehouse options during onboarding.
Does it handle both air and ocean shipments from Miami?
Yes. The system keeps both modes separate across the whole flow — consolidation, master bills, rates and statuses — so you can charge per pound for air and per cubic meter or per box for ocean, from the same agency.
Can I use it if my warehouse is not in Miami?
Yes. It works for any operation from the United States to Latin America and the Caribbean: Orlando, Houston, New York or wherever your warehouse is. The mailbox address is your warehouse's.
What do I legally need to run a courier from Miami?
A Florida-registered company, an EIN, a warehouse address and the DR-14FAA certificate to receive tax-exempt purchases bound for export. This is not legal advice: confirm current requirements with an accountant or attorney.
Do you meet in person in Miami?
Demos and onboarding are done by video call and WhatsApp, in English or Spanish, on Miami hours — so you can start the same week without scheduling visits.
